Welcome to Year 1

We are the 'Robins' and the 'Puffins'!

The teachers in Year 1 are: Mr Carter, Miss Lawes and Miss Foster (student teacher Puffins class)

The teaching assistants are: Mrs Kennedy and Miss Poulton

Our PE days are  Wednesday and Friday but it's a good idea to have your (named!) PE kit in school every day. This will be kept in your locker.

Robins and Puffins visit the library on Wednesday afternoon. You can borrow two books for two weeks. Please make sure your library books are kept safe and in good condition.

For Home Learning information please view our Home Learning Page. Your reading books will be changed once a week. Please read for at least 10 minutes every day at home and make sure an adult signs your reading record and reading challenge bookmark!

You do not need any personal stationery in Year 1: all writing equipment is provided.
