Home learning should be completed by you each week, although we would love you to share your home learning with an adult at home and they may help you if you need it.

If home learning is not completed, you will have to complete it at school during a break time.

If you have any difficulty with completing your home learning, please speak to your class teacher as soon as possible.

SpellingsEach week we will learn a new spelling pattern or rule. Your spelling list will include words that fit the pattern or rule and/or key year 3 vocabulary.

Spellings are given out on a Tuesday and are tested the following Monday.

mathsMaths home learning will always consolidate the class learning of the week.

Maths home learning is given out on a Tuesday and must be completed and brought back to school by the following Monday.

We expect you to read five times each week with an adult, who should sign your reading record.

readingBooks will be sent home from school for you to read and discuss with an adult. Your adult should ask you at least three questions about your reading, each time you read. Re-read the book before you bring it back to school. It is your responsibility to change your reading books regularly.

Reading records should be brought to school every Friday, where they will be checked.

Times Table Practice

TTRSYou should practise your times tables as often as possible. You can use Times Table Rock Stars or any other times table practise games.

Remember: the more you practice, the more confident you will be with your times table knowledge and the more coins you can earn for your avatar!

Our PE day is Friday. Please make sure that you have the correct PE kit that is suitable for both inside and outside PE lessons. PE kits should remain in lockers for the duration of each half term.
